Bodyguard Hindi Movie Movie:

It is remake of Malayalam hit BODYGUARD. Bodyguard revolves around young (Salman Khan), who has a very strange habit; he adulates anyone with a trace of heroism. Whenever he develops an admiration towards a person, he prefers to move with that person as a sort of bodyguard. He starts admiring Ashokan, a former liquor tycoon and leading businessman. (Salman Khan) wants to be Ashokan\’s bodyguard, but Ashokan does not need a bodyguard.
Later, (Salman Khan) approaches Ashokan with a recommendation from someone he cannot refuse. He achieves his luck after saving Ashokan from danger. (Salman Khan) thus becomes the bodyguard of Ashokan\’s only daughter (Kareena Kapoor). (Salman Khan) follows (Kareena Kapoor) to her college as her bodyguard. (Kareena Kapoor) and her friend Meera gets irritated with him following them all day.
The two girls started making fake calls to (Salman Khan)\’s number, trying to get rid of him. (Kareena Kapoor) is the girl who calls him, telling she is very much in love with him. At first things goes smoothly but later (Salman Khan) starts loving the girl who calls him and (Kareena Kapoor) slowly starts loving him. Later he decides to leave the place with her after their college examination and friend encourage (Kareena Kapoor) to meet him at the railway station, reveal that the girl was (Kareena Kapoor). But things get confused; Ashokan beats (Salman Khan) and (Kareena Kapoor) saved him by saying that he loves a girl and going to meet her at the railway station.
(Kareena Kapoor) has to make her friend go to the railway station pretending as the girl who calls him to save his life. But things take a turn and the friend go with (Salman Khan). Years later, (Salman Khan) comes back to the place with his son to meet Ashokan. His wife (Meera, the friend of (Kareena Kapoor) died and wrote the entire story in a diary which she gives to her son. Her son asks (Kareena Kapoor) to join them and she does. In the railway station (Salman Khan) sees his son throwing a diary into the waste bins and gets it without his son\’s notice. He comes to know that the girl of his dreams and the caller are both the same person, (Kareena Kapoor).

When it’s an Ajith Kumar’s film, what more can you expect other than the actor’s style and trademarks. ‘Mankatha’establishes more off the Ajith Kumar’s style, but doesn’t reminiscence of some of his recent movies ‘Billa’, ‘Aegan’ and ‘Aasal’, where it didn’t have more verbal works for the actor, but his ramp walks. This one has lots of new stuffs from ‘Thala’ as he steps into a different role. Say for instance, there is no transformation from Bad into Good and he is ‘Bad’ right from beginning till the end. Prithviraj as Teja Bhai is an underworld don in Kuala Lumpur, who falls in love with Vedika. Vedika’s father Damodarji wanted her to marry a man from good family having high social status and no criminal record. To marry Vedika, Teja has to set up a family. Suraj who arrives as Swamy Vasya Vajas brings some duplicate relatives. The story line is fabricated to make a hit, but some twists and dialogues are unbearable. The film used all the tricks in trade. At some point it seemed like the content of second class comedy films.

The story revolves around Ruth (Kalki Koechlin), who along with her British mother is abandoned by her Indian father while she’s still young, after her elder stepsister kills herself in UK. Barely having a clue about her father’s identity as she was just five at that time, Ruth is confused about her roots. Her mother too keeps her in the dark, until she receives a letter from her father. The note creates a sense of nostalgia in her and shw wants to meet her father in India. The search begins and Ruth lands up in Mumbai, working as a masseuse to survive in the city. In the course of time, in order to distract herself from her miseries (her failure in tracking her father), she gets into a relationship which too turns out to be ugly as her boyfriend is a drug addict. Now, who is Ruth’s elusive father and will she ever be able find him is the rest of the story.
The concept of child molestation and drug abuse seems to have become Anurag Kashyap’s forte. This is his third film in a row post ‘Shaitan’ and ‘Udaan’ which deals with the topic. Anurag handles both the elements quite sensitively without going overboard. In fact, the so-called objectionable acts including the sexual acts performed by Ruth to gratify her customers, out of compulsion have been shot very aesthetically with no room for vulgarity.

Shoaib Mansoor is one of the brightest names to come out of Pakistan. A few years ago, his film Khuda Kay Liye, which tackled the theme of terrorism, won wide acclaim and praise. The supremely talented storyteller is back with another bold and hard-hitting effort called Bol, which unmasks the dual standards prevalent in the society. In fact, we make tall claims about the rights of women and how they are equal to men, but if one looks around, especially in the under-developed countries, the disparity and inequality is for all to see.
Shoaib is indeed a courageous storyteller and this film must have sparked off a debate when it released in Pakistan several weeks ago. Like Khuda Kay Liye, Bol addresses the religious extremism in the neighboring country. It’s about a daughter who stands up against her father, but most importantly, she dares to defy the age-old societal norms that treat women as lesser beings. The fact that a Pakistani film-maker has had the courage to tackle this theme makes it all the more commendable and praiseworthy.
Bol makes you peep into the lives of a family living in Pakistan, making us aware of the predicament, the anguish, their determination to survive against all odds. The family decides to solve their problems, but get into deeper troubles gradually. The struggle for life and death is what catches your eye.
Bol shocks and stuns also because of the sub-plots in the plotline and the twists and turns in the story. Of course, I wouldn’t like to reveal the details and spoil the fun of watching this brilliant fare, but I’d like to add that one has rarely witnessed such themes on the big screen. It serves as a wake-up call for the orthodox types on both the sides of the border.

THE BUZZ: Really we're looking forward to James Franco's sleepy-eyed justifications for the origins story, Andy Serkis's motion-capture work as Caesar, and the reunion of director Rupert Wyatt and Brian Cox, who starred in Wyatt's excellent debut, The Escapist. We'll give this one a chance, but the number of writers who have experimented on this script is worth noting, as is the release-date juggling -- first early summer, then winter, now late summer. Could be a case of fans vs. Fox -- a familiar battle. For Franco, who has the longest To Do List in history, this is the kind of serious-minded entertainment that's perfectly fits his actorly qualities. (That could be construed as a polite way of saying he's best suited for thinky drama.) He's also wonderfully malleable in the right director's hands, though with Serkis, Cox, and pretty young things Freida Pinto and Tom Felton in the mix, we're realizing this is the first big-time leading man challenge for Franco, and, yes, we hope he's more engaging than he was as Oscar co-host ...

Gandhi to Hitler, whether a dreaded Third Reich minister, a marauding Russian Red Army soldier, a trigger-happy French infantryman or a patriotic Azad Hind Fauj volunteer, is portrayed by an Indian actor.
What’s more, the film uses what looks suspiciously like the Garhwal Himalayas and the Punjab countryside as stand-ins for sundry European locations. Bollywood’s long-nurtured expansionist designs assume alarming proportions in this spectacularly daft account of the last months of Adolf Hitler’s life. For this film, India is the world.
The intentions are lofty enough, but Gandhi to Hitler has the feel of a Z-grade quickie destined to be quickly consigned to the dustbins of movie history. The concept is hare-brained and the execution ham-handed and that’s putting it mildly.
Taking off from two epistolary appeals that Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi made to the Fuhrer during World War II, the film seeks to underscore the contrast between the Mahatma’s non-violent struggle against the British and the Nazi “an eye for an eye” philosophy. As if we didn’t know!

He works for the National Human Rights Commission and is sent to investigate into the death of a young couple to his village. He gets killed in a case of mistaken identity.

THE BUZZ: I am thoroughly intrigued by this crowd-sourced human-nature documentary overseen by Ridley Scott and directed by Kevin Macdonald, who is solid in feature mode (The Last King of Scotland, even The Eagle was B-quality) but truly comes alive when examining the real world (Touching the Void, and the Oscar-winning One Day in September).

THE BUZZ: Honored as the opening film at Sundance 2011, John Michael McDonagh (brother of In Bruges's writer-director, Martin) sends up the cop-movie genre with ounces of drugs and liquor and an arsenal of jokes about race. The result is undeniably funny stuff that gets better as the story progresses. Cheadle is note-perfect as the straight man, but the spotlight is on Gleeson, whose performance traffics in bits of classic Benny Hill.

The Plot: Forced to become the body double of Uday Hussein, Latif Ahmed (Cooper) bears witness to daily life under Saddam Hussein's reign, from lavish extravagances to sadistic acts of brutality.
THE BUZZ: Despite terrific performances from Dominic Cooper (in a much-discussed dual role) and Ludivine Sagnier and a sense of historical voyeurism that's confirming and wildly over-the-top in places, the problem here is the presence of Lee Tamahori, whose one-dimensional direction does this film a major disservice (perhaps it's been re-edited a bit since we saw it at Sundance). That said, Dominic Cooper's work more than earns the cost of admission.
